Steve Perry puts the training wheels on smooth, and sends it into the realm of hard beats and primal screams.
Sorry Koko, but you’re dead. Time for yacht rock to grow up…

More Jazzy Smooth music from your man George Benson. I love how he brings it all back at the end there after his solo. So amazing. If you like this, be sure not to miss Chuck Mangione…

Steely Dan is pretty much amazing. These guys used to be called “The Leather Canary” in college and their drummer was none other than Chevy Chase, who’s real name is Cornelius Crane Chase which is also pretty much amazing.

January 5th, 2007
Really Smooth music is all about production quality, and 10cc blew some minds in 1975 when they released this track “I’m Not in Love.” It was a little before the hard riffs and back beats to follow, but definitely paved the way for some smooth sailing in the years to come.
Chuck Mangione Feels Soooo Good

Chuck Mangione gives it all he’s got in this happy, happy song… plus it’s all worth it for 0:42 and that happy, happy face.
Smooth… jazz smooth, but still smooth. For God’s sake, this song was the theme of the 1980 Winter Olympics!!
