Steely Dan is pretty much amazing. These guys used to be called “The Leather Canary” in college and their drummer was none other than Chevy Chase, who’s real name is Cornelius Crane Chase which is also pretty much amazing.

Really Smooth music is all about production quality, and 10cc blew some minds in 1975 when they released this track “I’m Not in Love.” It was a little before the hard riffs and back beats to follow, but definitely paved the way for some smooth sailing in the years to come.
